TRANSVAL was founded in 1994 and since 2005 has as main activity the construction of wood framed houses: Permanent houses, holiday homes and cottages on wooden structure - low energy houses (green), bio-climate, solar, liable.

TRANSVAL is a member of the Association for wooden houses in Romania (APROCOR), has a license for manufacturing and assembly, has implemented and works in accordance to ISO 9001, owns a EOTA (ATP) certificate - Certification of compliance with European Directive in the spirit 89/106 of the European Economic Council.

The production facility for wooden houses is an area of 2600 square meters, an automatic dryer - Bollman, acclimation timber hall, and a automated performance table for wood panels.

Most U.S. homes are wood structure; style design combines simple and modern solutions, which gives the wooden house many advantages over brick houses. The design style in the U.S. and Canada is based on a large volume of research. TRANSVAL has a fully equipped workshop and a lot of experience in order to produce houses with wooden structure (Holzrahmenbau, Ossature Bois, Timber Frame - American wooden houses) build in compliance with APROCOR standards and European standards DTU 31.2 (afcobois) and Eurocode 5 requirements.

Over 85% of homes in the United States and Canada are built on wooden structure and many of them dating from 1800s are still in use. In Western Europe already exists a tradition in terms of wooden houses (60% in Scotland are the wooden houses). Their style combines simple solutions and modern design, which gives them many advantages over brick houses or those of wood. Choosing the design style in the U.S. and Canada is based on a large volume of research on resistance, thermal comfort, health and environmental protection.

These wooden buildings maintain well over time and ensure all conditions of safety and comfort. The wooden house adapts after all architectural styles and design.

Proposed projects are handled by our customer, design specifications will be made in the design workshop of the association using one of the most modern program. Projects will be filled with prescriptions for spatial stability and protection in case of earthquake, but in special situations we collaborate with Gh.Asachi Technical University of Iasi (for complex earthquake calculations).
